A weekend course to practice coaching and boost your own creativity using Clean Language and Symbolic Modeling. This course offers coaches, therapists, Hypnotists, Social Workers, nurses, artists, writers, actors, musicians, inventors, scientists, and creators of all kinds the opportunity to coach and be coached using Symbolic Modeling. This class will offer you the chance to build a highly personalized creative space, develop a novel, a character, a musical piece, an invention, a scientific theory, a career path, a new business model or any other goal you may desire. And of course practice your Clean Language and Symbolic Modeling skills!

The Symbolic Modeling process was developed from the work of psychotherapist David Grove which each individual’s experience of their world as encoded in personalized metaphors embedded in our minds, bodies, and the space around us. Think of Carl Jung’s Red Book, or Albert Einstein’s journey on a ray of light.

After an introduction to the Symbolic Modeling process we will define our individual goals. These may be as simple as “I want to compose a piece of music” or “I want to develop my career path”. Working in pairs we will then begin our personal journeys into metaphor, building a symbolic metaphor for each element of the goal and process, and a symbolic landscape that includes these metaphorical objects.

Tools and guidance will be provided for each step of the process as well as hands on guidance where required. As the symbolic elements of the landscape come into place and relationships between the metaphorical elements become operational the power of the unconscious mind emerges to offer new and unique creativity to the Symbolic Dreamer and the World.
